Patrick Tatopoulos and Tatopoulos Studios

Tatopoulos Studios were responsible for designing the western re-make of the Godzilla franchise in1998.

I found a interesting section in a book about how Tatopoulos went about creating Godzilla, he took influences from reptiles and ostrich but what I found the most interesting is that hes used feline influences and one of which was shere khan from The Jungle book because and I quote “I always thought shere khan was such a Nobel creature but also scary and evil.” Tatopoulos also used felines because unlike the Asian Godzilla, the director wanted Godzilla to be fast and agile.
