Ginnesaurous Silo to Zbrush

This part of my technical research I will be using my sea creature from the 1st year as my ginnepig for my exploration into Zbrush and its sculpting tools.

Blow you see a range of images from the original model to the 1st practice sulpt in Brush.

Updating my model was quite a task because the original asset was made in the 1st year when I hadn’t really learnt about topology and the biomacanics of creating a unique creature, but I changed it non the less but due to my personal deadlines I couldn’t spend as much time as would of liked on it but it was enough to practise on.

Leaning to sculpt in Zbrush was quite a daunting task but thanks to the Gnomon Workshop and 3D World mag I learnt the basics and had a play at sculpting my creature, I will be doing some more sculpts in the future to get a better understanding and gain some more techniques when I come to the real thing next term.
